Foster made his professional debut in September 2012 with a first round TKO win over Theo Johnson in Robstown, Texas.
The Orange native compiled an 8-0 record over the next three years, including four more stoppage wins, before suffering a first defeat as he lost on points to Samuel Teah.
He responded with a fourth round TKO win over Rynell Griffin in his next bout and that set up a meeting with Lavisas Williams on the undercard of Showtime's "ShoBox: The Next Generation", in February 2016.
Foster made the most of what was at the time the biggest opportunity of his career with an eye-catching seventh round win, dropping Williams in round two, three and four before earning a TKO win in the seventh.
Foster suffered his second and most recent loss in his next bout, however, losing on a split decision to Rolando Chinea in July 2016.
Foster had a lengthy break after his defeat to Chinea and returned to the ring in December 2017 as he claimed a first round TKO win over Andrew Goodrich and he was back in action just a few weeks later with a majority decision win against Kaylyn Alfred.
Both of those contests took place at lightweight, but he returned to super featherweight for his next outing against Frank De Alba, winning via majority decision.
Foster claimed his first title in his next fight as he ended Jon Fernandez’s unbeaten record with a unanimous decision win after a thoroughly dominant performance. The contest was the main event of the "ShoBox: The New Generation" series, and the win saw Foster claim the WBC Silver super featherweight title.
Foster picked up five more wins before taking on Muhammadkhuja Yaqubov in Dubai in 2022. Yaqubov had a perfect 22-0 record going into the showdown but Foster won by unanimous decision, scoring the only knockdown of the clash in the 12th round, and that victory set up his first world title shot - against Rey Vargas for the vacant WBC super featherweight belt.
Vargas, the WBC featherweight champion, went into the bout as the slight favorite but Foster dominated and outlanded Vargas over the course of the 12 rounds, claiming a unanimous decision win and his first world title.
Foster's next fight is yet to be scheduled.
Foster lost his WBC super featherweight title to Robson Conceicao on July 6, 2024, his first defeat since 2016.
Foster lost the fight via split decision.
Foster was born on September 17th, 1993, making him 30 years old.
Foster is 5'8 ½" and currently competes at super featherweight, also known as junior lightweight. His reach is measured at 72".
Foster's net worth is estimated to be north of $1 million.
