Connor McDavid and Edmonton Oilers travel to New Jersey to take on Jack Hughes' New Jersey Devils.
Both have done quite well in their respective Conferences and have proven to be forces to be reckoned with and will both teams be looking to extend win streaks.
To get you ready for the high-flying battle to come, we have provided our in-depth Oilers vs. Devils prediction and analysis.
The star talent featured in this game is at a very high level. McDavid and Leon Draisaitl remain on their insane pace in points and goals and lead the league in points with 39 and 28 respectively.
Third on the list is Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard, who has 26 points.
It seems like this trio is an automatic for multiple points per night and will present the biggest challenge for New Jersey's defensive efforts.
As a team, the Oilers score 4.20 goals per game which is second in the NHL and they own the third-best power play at 32.7%.
New Jersey meanwhile scores at a rate of 3.43 goals per game which has also been quite impressive and leading the charge for them has been Hughes, who has 16 points in 14 games.
The Devils have a more balanced approach, leaning on a long list of offensively capable players such as Jesper Bratt (12 points), Arseny Gritsyuk (8 goals), and Nico Hischier (7 goals).
The Devils will be sending out newly acquired superstar goaltender Connot Hellebuyck and are taking on an Oilers group that has allowed four goals over the last 245 minutes of play.
However, offensive action will be the story of this one.
Edmonton comes into this one as an underdog, as they are on the road against a very highly touted Eastern Conference team. However, they stack up well here and should have an excellent chance at winning.
The Oilers find themselves on a three-game winning streak and will be gunning to earn their fourth. They have been exceptional on both ends of the ice, outscoring opponents 12-1 over that span.
A massive challenge in Edmonton's consistent success has been their ability to keep the puck out of their net.
New Jersey will not make this an easy challenge whatsoever, but Edmonton has allowed just four goals over their last four games and own the seventh-lowest goals against average (2.87 per game).
They have also outdueled the Devils in both special teams, outdoing them by a whopping 16% on the power play, and 5.6% on the penalty kill.
New head coach Mike Babcock may be controversial, but his presence has certainly made a mark on these Oilers.
This is Edmonton's final road game until November 14, so expect them to empty the tank and leave it all out on the ice.
As usual, Draisaitl is off to a red-hot start. In just 15 games, the German center has potted 12 goals and 28 points, on pace to blow his career bests out of the water.
It is no hot take to say watch out for him to be a major factor in this game.
He is second in scoring behind Minnesota Wild's Kirill Kaprizov (15) and, while his team wins are most-important, his eyes are also set on leading the pack in NHL scoring.
Surprisingly though, Draisaitl has not scored in four games. This drought has come after three straight games of two goals and a total nine goals over six games.
This halt in scoring is no concern whatsoever, but it falls way below Draisaitl's standards. He has scored 446 goals over his career thus far, so expect him to add to his total in this game.
