The NFL returns to London on Sunday with two teams heading in very different directions taking to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium stage, as the Jacksonville Jaguars face the injury-ravaged Philadelphia Eagles.
While the Jaguars arrive with a healthy 3-1 record and growing confidence on both sides of the ball, the Eagles have dropped consecutive games against the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams amid a lengthening casualty list.
Philadelphia's preparations have also been far from ideal with the team due to arrive in London just a day before kickoff before returning home immediately after the game.
That would be challenging under any circumstances, but Nick Sirianni's side are also dealing with major absences across the roster.
Running backs Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby are both expected to miss out, while the offensive line has been hit hard following Lane Johnson's retirement and injuries to Landon Dickerson and Cam Jurgens.
The problems do not end there, with DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Quinyon Mitchell and Jonathan Greenard all carrying injury concerns.
Jacksonville, meanwhile, have emerged one of the more impressive teams in the AFC this fall.
Trevor Lawrence is playing some of the best football of his career, completing 69.2% of his passes with eight touchdowns and only two interceptions, while second-year rusher Bhayshul Tuten has become a valuable weapon on the ground.
The Jaguars also boast a defence that has conceded only 53 points through four games and leads the NFL's turnover charts with six interceptions.
It is difficult to make a compelling case for Philadelphia given the current state of the roster.
The Eagles enter Week 5 ranked only 29th in total offense, averaging a meagre 270 yards per game, and those numbers could worsen if the injury report unfolds as expected.
Philadelphia's offensive line has already struggled in protection and now faces the prospect of playing without three regular starters. That is a major concern against a Jacksonville defence that has generated pressure consistently and created turnovers at key moments.
Jalen Hurts has little margin for error behind a depleted line, especially with question marks surrounding several of his top pass-catching options.
The Eagles failed to convert any of their 12 third-down opportunities against the Rams and have yet to top 24 points in a game this season.
Meanwhile, Jacksonville are significantly healthier and look like the more balanced team. Lawrence is distributing the ball efficiently, the running game continues to improve and the defence has allowed fewer points than almost every team in the league.
The Jaguars are also 3-1 against the spread this season and have covered 14 of their last 21 games overall.
With Philadelphia travelling across the Atlantic carrying so many injuries, Jacksonville should be able to control both lines of scrimmage and secure a comfortable victory so a seven-and-a-half-point handicap looks more than reasonable.
Lawrence has made a superb start to the 2026 campaign and this matchup offers another opportunity to build on some impressive numbers.
The Jaguars quarterback already has eight touchdown passes through four games while posting a passer rating of 111.2.
His decision-making has been excellent, throwing only two interceptions, and he is benefiting from a diverse cast of weapons around him.
Philadelphia's defense ranks only 21st in total yards allowed and could be missing both top cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and pass rusher Jonathan Greenard.
That would significantly weaken a unit that is already struggling for consistency.
If Jacksonville can establish their running game early, Lawrence should enjoy favorable passing situations throughout the contest.
Two or more touchdown passes looks well within reach against an Eagles defence that has struggled to get off the field.
Tuten has emerged as one of the breakout stars of Jacksonville's season and looks an attractive anytime touchdown option.
The running back has accumulated 277 rushing yards through four games while averaging an impressive 4.6 yards per carry.
More importantly, Jacksonville has shown a willingness to trust him in key situations and his role near the goal line continues to grow.
The Eagles have spent too much time on the field defensively in recent weeks because of their offensive struggles, and that trend could continue in London.
If Jacksonville dominates possession as expected, Tuten should receive numerous opportunities close to the end zone.
Against an undermanned Philadelphia front, backing the Jaguars running back to reach the end zone makes plenty of appeal.
