38-year-old USMNT legend Michael Bradley will take charge of the New York Red Bulls ahead of the 2026 season. Bradley was promoted to head coach after winning the MLS Next Pro Championship with New York Red Bulls II, in 2025.
Bradley typically deploys an expansive, possession-based approach, which differs from the club's historical narrow, high pressing style of play.
The Red Bulls team if full of high potential youth prospects like Cade Cowell, Julian Hall, and Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty just to name a few. They will look to support reliable veterans Ethan Horvath, Emil Forsberg, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
36-year-old Choupo-Moting spearheads the attack, while Forsberg is heavily relied on for creativity and playing balls over the top or through defenses for attackers to run on to.
