FC Cincinnati vs. Atlas Prediction & Best Bets

After losing both of their matches so far, Atlas are aiming to get their Leagues Cup campaign back on track in this visit to FC Cincinnati.

The hosts, however, are defending a perfect record after some high-scoring home displays this year.

FC Cincinnati vs. Atlas betting picks and predictions

FC Cincinnati to win and over 3.5 goals (+240)

Cincinnati has eased to victories over Pachuca and Pumas in the Leagues Cup, putting them in a strong position to make the next round.

Despite strong regular season showings in two of the last three years, Cincinnati has struggled to translate that into the Leagues Cup.

The furthest they've made it in the competition was the round of 16 in 2024, exiting in the first round last year.

Cincinnati sit sixth in the Eastern Conference and home form has been a crucial part of that success.

They've claimed six of their seven MLS victories this season at TQL Stadium and they've scored 28 times across their nine home league games, at an average of over three per match.

That fine scoring record has led to some thrilling home matches, with six of their nine home matches featuring at least four goals.

The Orange and Blue have netted five times in the Leagues Cup so far and they look good to see an Atlas side that has lost at Charlotte and Columbus, conceding at least twice in each.

The hosts tend to give up chances and they should offer Atlas a chance to get on the scoresheet.

However, Cincinnati's attacking talent should prove too much for the Liga MX side that has now lost three straight matches by a two-goal margin.

Cincinnati to win and at least four goals to be scored in the match is the standout selection at +240.

Over 4.5 goals (+300)

While Cincinnati have been great going forward, they've suffered defensively this season.

They have scored 45 times and conceded 44 in only 18 MLS matches, meaning they are seeing an average of 4.94 goals per game.

That number is even higher at TQL Stadium, where two-thirds of their matches have featured at least six goals.

Cincinnati have scored 3.11 goals per home game in MLS, while conceding an average of 2.11. They've faced a total of 38 shots across their first two Leagues Cup matches, so another high-scoring encounter could be on the cards.

The hosts signed off from the MLS campaign with three straight wins at home, beating San Jose 4-2, Vancouver Whitecaps 4-3, and thumping Orlando City 6-2.

We could easily see another back-and-forth encounter on Tuesday night, so it's worth considering over 4.5 goals to be scored in the game at +300.

Evander Ferreira to make an assist (+138)

Brazilian Evander Ferreira has been key to Cincinnati's high-scoring form, as he's the club's joint-top scorer in MLS this term with 11 strikes.

He's also pitched in with 10 assists in 17 appearances and six of those have come in his nine matches at home.

Ferreira recorded an assist in the 2-0 victory over Pumas last time out, after scoring in their 3-1 win over Pachuca. He was also a key creative figure in that first Leagues Cup win, creating two chances and making seven passes into the final third.

Ferreira can continue that creative streak in what should be a high-scoring match and he looks better value to assist at +138 than his +100 price to score anytime.
