The Los Angeles Rams will look to keep pace with the high-flying San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West when they host the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.
The 49ers are top of the division after a 5-0 start, and the 2-2 Rams cannot afford to fall too far behind their rivals.
Sean McVay's team lost 7-27 to the 49ers in Week 1 in Melbourne but they have won two of their last three games to get back on track.
Buffalo started the campaign with three consecutive wins, but their 26-29 defeat to the New England Patriots brought them back down to earth last weekend and their defensive issues continue to be a problem.
After two difficult road games against the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles, the Rams will be delighted to return to SoFi Stadium.
The Rams were narrowly beaten 30-26 by the Broncos two weeks ago before responding with a 24-20 win over the Eagles, highlighting the fight in this team.
A home clash against Buffalo is no easy task, but the Bills' defense is giving away gifts several months before Christmas.
Only the Detroit Lions have conceded more points per game than Buffalo's 31.8 and the Bills cannot seem to find a way to slow down the opposition.
That is extremely worrying against a Rams offense that will feature Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Davante Adams and Kyren Williams.
Not only that, but the Rams have conceded the fewest passing yards in the NFL, which should give Buffalo issues as that is the strongest part of their offense.
Buffalo are 30th in opponent EPA per play and 28th in opponent success rate. With the Rams at home, they should be able to carve open the Bills' secondary and cover the spread.
This clash will feature two of the most explosive offenses and the Bills will do all they can to make life uncomfortable for their hosts.
Buffalo's best form of defense will come via their offense and with Josh Allen at quarterback, the Bills will rack up points.
The Bills have scored 24 points or more in every game and another end-to-end battle should be on the cards.
McVay's team won 44-42 when the pair last met in December 2024 and there have been at least 41 points scored in the last four meetings.
Rams receiver Nacua has 199 receiving yards from just two appearances and he should be able to flesh out his stats on Monday.
Nacua has yet to finish a game with fewer than 74 receiving yards and five catches and he should be able to outclass Buffalo's secondary.
The Bills have conceded 256.3 receiving yards per game and with Nacua playing alongside Adams, it will be tough for Buffalo to double team the pair of them.
Nacua finished the 2025 season with 11 games of 90 receiving yards or more and he may not get an easier night at the office than this upcoming fixture against Buffalo.
