Liverpool host Villareal at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League today.
Liverpool will look to remain undefeated three games into the UEFA Champions League after earning victories against Atletico Madrid and LASK. Andoni Iraola's team have not been entirely convincing in any of their victories this season. The Reds scored six goals against LASK last week, but also conceded three goals against the Austrian opposition.
Villarreal lost their opening match of the UCL this season against Dortmund, but bounced back with a 3-1 victory against Napoli. The 'Yellow Submarine' have also had incredibly shaky results, setting up what could be a very exciting Champions League contest with Liverpool.
Liverpool are far more comfortable in front of their home fans, winning 15 of their last 16 UCL games at Anfield.
