The Philadelphia Phillies left-handed pitcher Jesús Luzardo has been placed on the 15-day injured list.
Luzardo has not pitched since his first complete-game shutout on September 7. He threw 109 pitches (78 strikes) over 9 innings, leading the Phillies to a 1-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves. Luzardo has been a staple in the Phillies' rotation, posting an 8-1 record with a 1.65 ERA since June 23, with the team going 12-2 in his starts.
