Israel Adesanya hasn't won a fight since he defeated Alex Pereira in April of 2023, but he feels confident coming into the fight against Joe Pyfer.
Adesanya (24-5), nicknamed "The Last Stylebender," has dropped three fights in a row and four of his last five. Despite the skid, he's still ranked in the top-five in the middleweight division.
"I'm very determined," Adesanya said, according to cbssports.com. "I'm not determined about the losing skid, I really just want to perform because when I perform, wins and gold come."
The former middleweight champ will face off against the American Joe Pyfer, a key figure in Dana White's Contender Series.
Pyfer comes in on fire, winning three fights in a row and holding a 6-1 UFC record. Currently ranked 14th in the middleweight division, the 29-year-old is looking for a signature win.
