The IndyCar Series travels to Nashville this weekend for the 2026 Music City Grand Prix.
Due to the scheduling conflict with the World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina, the Music City Grand Prix will be the first night race in the event's history.
With the IndyCar Championship battle heating up, Nashville will be a critical victory for any of the challengers.
The event will take place at the Nashville Superspeedway, a 1.33-mile track in Lebanon, Tennessee. The tracks' concrete surface makes offers it's own challenges, and combined with the event being a 400-mile race, drivers will need to show off their stamina to lift this years trophy, a hand-painted Gibson Les Paul guitar.
Josef Newgarden is favored to win the Music City Grand Prix this weekend, but the 2026 Championship leader Alex Palou will surely have something to say about that.

The Music City Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Nashville Superspeedway in Tennessee.
The race will begin at 5:30 PM ET (4:30 PM Local Central Time).
The race could be delayed 40-60 minutes depending on if the World Cup Final requires extra time or even penalties.
The Music City Grand Prix will be broadcast live on FOX immediately following the FIFA World Cup Final.
Streaming will be available on Fox Sports, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, or Sling TV.
Practice and qualifying laps will be available on FS1 and FS2 throughout the weekend.
