The 2025/26 NBA season is less than a week away, and we have you covered on how you can watch all the action that is spread out across multiple national TV channels and streaming services.
In an era that has seen traditional cable TV coverage transition to streaming services all with separate subscription plans, it can be hard to keep up with where each game will be broadcasted.
On top of that, TNT Sports who had been covering the NBA for 36 years will not cover any game this season or any in the foreseeable future. TNT will still have "Inside the NBA" with Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith that will air on ESPN prior to tip.
Also, the NBA on NBC is back after not airing an NBA game in the last 23 years.
Below is a guide explaining which days each national TV channel/streaming service will cover the NBA:
Tuesdays: NBC's main day called "Coast 2 Coast Tuesday" features weekly doubleheaders on NBC and Peacock.
First broadcast: Tuesday, Oct. 21: Houston Rockets at Oklahoma City Thunder, and Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Lakers
Mondays: "Peacock NBA Monday" will feature one game per week exclusively on Peacock.
First broadcast: Monday, Oct. 27: Cleveland Cavaliers at Detroit Pistons
Sundays: Post NFL-season, NBC will debut its "Sunday Night Basketball" program, featuring one late night game per week.
First broadcast: Sunday, Feb. 1: Los Angeles Lakers at New York Knicks
Wednesdays and Fridays: ESPN will continue their typically scheduled Wednesday and Friday night broadcasts.
First broadcast: Wednesday, Oct. 22: Cleveland Cavaliers at New York Knicks
Saturdays and Sundays: ABC will cover Saturday night basketball games and Sunday afternoon games.
Saturday, Oct. 29: Cleveland Cavaliers at Boston Celtics
ESPN will also broadcast a Thanksgiving Eve tripleheader on Nov. 26.
Fridays: Amazon Prime Video will stream a doubleheader every Friday throughout the season.
First broadcast: Friday, Oct. 24: Boston Celtics at New York Knicks
Thursdays: From January to April, Prime Video will stream Thursday night doubleheaders.
Saturdays: Also from January to April, Prime Video will stream select Saturday afternoon games.
Of course, each team will have their own regional sports network/streaming service, and League Pass is a yearly subscription that offers coverage on all non-national TV games.
