How Denver Summit FC could line up with their current roster after signing Lindsey Heaps from OL Lyonnes.
Denver Summit FC have signed Lindsey Heaps to a three-year deal to join her hometown expansion club. Heaps will immediately elevate the Summit into a competitive team in the clubs debut season.
Heaps will join Nick Cushing's team that has already signed proven NWSL talent, and young exciting college players.
Cushing in Denver's first head coach, and signed with the team after coaching NYCFC in MLS, and Manchester City's women's team.
The Summit's team is already headlined by two Colorado natives, Ally Watt (the team's first signing), and Jordan Baggett. Watt will be joined on the team by her former Orlando Pride teammate Carson Pickett.
Other notable stars joining the ranks are Ayo Oke, who joins from the team on a NWSL record fee from Pachuca in Mexico, and 2x NWSL Champion goalkeeper Abby Smith.
Oke, 22, is one of the most promising young full backs in the USWNT system, and is expected to make an immediate impact in the NWSL.
