Dana White's Contender Series Season 10 Episode 3 Preview: Athletes, Bouts, Start Times, Streaming

Dana White’s Contender Series returns for Week 3 of Season 10 with another group of prospects chasing an opportunity that could change the course of their careers. Five fights are scheduled for August 25 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

With UFC contracts on the line, each fighter will be looking to deliver a performance that stands out. From unbeaten prospects to seasoned standouts, Week 3 features a mix of styles, backgrounds, and fighting experience.

About DWCS

Season 10 will consist of 10 weekly episodes airing every Tuesday night on Paramount+, beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT from the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Each episode features a new group of fighters, typically competing across five bouts. Dana White and a panel of UFC matchmakers evaluate the performances as the action unfolds. Once all the fights are complete, White reveals which fighters, if any, have earned an official UFC contract and a place on the roster.

Matchups for Episode 3 have been announced. Here is a look at the fighters set to compete.

Meet the Fighters

Bella Mir

Bella Mir enters DWCS as one of the most decorated young prospects in the sport. The 23-year-old from Las Vegas is 4-0 in professional MMA, with three first-round submission wins. Mir has already built an impressive resume, highlighted by a 2026 NCCA Championship, four Nevada State titles, and U20 and U23 National Championship wins, as well as world team appearances. She also made history as the first athlete to sign a UFC NIL deal.


As the daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, she grew up around combat sports and has continued building her own identity. Competing in the bantamweight division, she brings her experience and skill set into a division known for its power, athleticism, and high-level competition.

Alex Apodaca

Alex Apodaca comes into DWCS with a 3-1 record and a three-fight winning streak. The 32-year-old from Austin, Texas, has a Muay Thai base that has developed into a more complete MMA style, and she now trains out of Tiger Beetle MMA in Colorado.

Apodaca’s path to MMA was anything but direct. She studied at Texas, worked in finance and trained before and after long workdays, all while slowly committing herself to the sport full-time. That grind, along with discipline, has helped shape her into the competitor she’s become. Now, she has the chance to test those skills against Bella Mir, one of the most highly regarded prospects on the card.

Mario Piazzon

Mario Piazzon is a 28-year-old from Brazil, who holds a 12-1 record. Training out of Galpão da Luta, he has built a strong career through judo, jiu-jitsu and MMA, developing into a disciplined heavyweight with a proven finishing record.

Piazzon has already had one Contender Series appearance, and that experience gave him important lessons that helped shape his second opportunity. Now, Piazzon returns to DWCS looking to prove how much he has grown. He’ll face Guilherme Uriel as he gets another chance to make his case for a UFC contract.

Guilherme Uriel

Guilherme Uriel is a 29-year-old heavyweight contender from Brazil, with a 7-2 professional record. He has developed skills from Evolution Combat MMA, that has shaped him into a versatile heavyweight always looking for knockout but prioritizing tactical intelligence.

Also known as “Urso” (Bear), Uriel earned his nickname in his early jiu-jitsu days, when his “bear hugs” made it hard for opponents to break free.  Uriel grew up helping his father with rural work, an experience that helped build his physical strength and prepared him mentally for whatever challenge comes his way.

Gary Balletto

A 31-year-old from Cranston, Rhode, Island, Gary Balletto enters DWCS with an 11-3 record and a perfect 100% finish rate. The welterweight, has built his career around a boxing base that has evolved to include wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu techniques, giving him the tools to needed to finish fights in a variety of ways.

Balletto has competed in boxing, bare-knuckle, and MMA, and his journey has been shaped by a lifelong connection to the sport. His father, world champion boxer Gary “Tiger” Balletto, was his biggest inspiration growing up. A UFC contract would represent a full-circle moment for Gary Balletto, who has followed the sport his whole life and now gets his chance to earn a contract of his own.

Sean Clancy Jr.

Sean Clancy Jr., known as “The One,” from Scotland enters DWCS with a perfect 8-0 professional record. The 23-year-old has finished all eight of his professional wins, using a strong grappling base and lethal submission skills to overwhelm opponents.

Clancy’s ability to put pressure on opponents on the mat or outwork them on his feet has made him one of the more intriguing prospects on the card. He now gets the chance to prove himself against a veteran-minded opponent Garry Balletto.

Ronald Humphrey

A 25-year-old from American Top Team in Sandy Springs, Ronald Humphrey has a 4-0 record and a habit of ending fights early, with four first-round finishes. He believes he is ready for the UFC because of his genuine love for competition. Wrestling and combat sports have been part of his life since 2016, and that path helped shape his approach to MMA. Humphrey now gets his shot in the welterweight division to prove he belongs among the most elite competition in the world.

Alexis Miranda

Alexis Miranda enters DWCS with a 9-2 record and more than a decade of work behind him to reach this opportunity. The 27-year-old from Tijuana, Mexico, trains out of Entram Gym, one of the country’s top MMA gyms, and has built a reputation as a dangerous all-around fighter with strong boxing and finishing abilities.

Known as “Mantis,” Miranda believes he is prepared for whoever is put in front of him, and with Dana White watching, he wants to put on a welterweight performance that earns a contract.

Carlos Petruzella

Carlos Petruzzella enters DWCS with a 15-1 record and a reputation as a dangerous finisher, with eight knockouts and seven submissions on his resume. The 29-year-old from Argentina, has spent the last decade working toward this opportunity.

Originally built around his grappling technique, Petruzzella has developed his striking in recent years and believes he can do damage anywhere the fight goes. Now, he sees this as an opportunity to earn a UFC contract while continuing to represent the growth of MMA in Argentina.

Nick Galanti

Nick Galanti is set for his DWCS debut after compiling a 7-1 record and winning the CFFC middleweight title. The 28-year-old from New Jersey built his early foundation in jiu-jitsu but has become a more complete MMA fighter with strong grappling, pressure and finishing ability.

A former football player, Galanti, left a traditional job to fully commit to the sport and has spent years working towards this opportunity. Now, he gets the chance to prove he belongs on the sport’s biggest stage.
