Week 10 of Dana White’s Contender Series is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th and takes place at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This event is made up of five Main Card fights, which features a UFC Featherweight fight between Ilias Bulaid and Erick Visconde.
For those that are unfamiliar with the Contender Series, it is an ongoing series where rising prospects attempt to make an impression on Dana White, the CEO of the UFC.
Our top pick will look for the fight between Ilias Bulaid and Erick Visconde to end inside the distance.
Bulaid enters this fight with an MMA record of 9-0. His most recent win was against Wellyton Silva by TKO back in April 2026.
Belaid has been a professional MMA fighter since September 2019 and most notably, has seen the majority of his wins come by finish.
In fact, Belaid has won six of his nine MMA fights inside the distance, which includes five wins by KO/TKO and one win by submission. Further, Belaid’s last four MMA fights have ended inside the distance.
As for Visconde, he enters this fight with an MMA record of 17-3. He most recently beat Gustavo Pintos by split decision back in May 2026.
Visconde has had a bit more MMA experience compared to Belaid, as he has been a professional MMA fighter since July 2017. That said, Visconde has still seen 13 of his 20 career MMA fights end inside the distance. This includes six wins by KO/TKO, six wins by submission, and one loss by submission.
It goes without saying that both of these fighters have seen the majority of their MMA fights end inside the distance; therefore, also backing this fight to end inside the distance will be our play.

Our second pick will be looking for Smilla Sundell to beat Aline Pereira by KO/TKO.
Sundell enters this fight with an MMA record of 2-0. Her most recent win resulted in a win against Maya Samuels-Stewart by TKO back in June 2026.
Most notably, Sundell has only been a professional MMA fighter since the beginning of this year (January 2026), but has already won both of her fights by KO/TKO. Further, both of these fights ended before the third round, with her first fight ending in the first round and her second fight ending in the second round.
This suggests that Sundell likes to work fast, a trend she will look to continue here to try and earn herself a UFC contract.
As for Pereira, she enters this fight with an MMA record of 3-2. Since becoming a professional MMA fighter back in November 2022, Pereira has been inconsistent; however, she won her most recent fight, beating Jade Masson-Wong by split decision back in May 2026.
It is important to note that Pereira has seen all five of her MMA fights go the distance, meaning that she has never lost by KO/TKO. That said, Sundell already looks to be a potential rising star, especially with what we have seen from her in her first two professional fights. For that reason, backing Smilla Sundell to win by KO/TKO will be our play.
