American Soccer Players Currently in England's Premier League 2025/26

In 2025, the English Premier League (PL) remains the pinnacle of club soccer. One of the most profitable and competitive leagues in the world, players from across the globe dream of cracking a Premier League starting 11.

From current United States Men's National Team (USMNT) captain Christian Pulisic, to past USMNT captain Tim Howard, some of the most iconic names in American soccer history showcased their talents in the PL.

Other former Americans who played in the PL include Clint Dempsey, Brad Friedel, John Harkes, and Tim Ream.

We examine the American players currently strutting their stuff throughout the PL.

Americans in the Premier League

Antonee Robinson (Fulham)

Antonee Robinson is one of the top left backs applying his trade in England, where he plays for mid-table side Fulham. The 28-year-old first signed for Everton's youth academy in 2013, before signing his first professional contract with the Toffees in 2015.

Robinson then went on loan to Wigan Athletic before signing permanently. Finally, the USMNT star moved to Fulham in August of 2020 and has been an important player for them ever since.

The defender has yet to score a PL goal, but last season he contributed 10 assists which was tied-fourth most in the league. This helped earn him Fulham's 2024 Footballer of the Year award.

Robinson has racked up 17 assists in 136 appearances for Fulham in his previous four seasons in the PL. Robinson is looking to build on his strong performances in 2024/25 for the upcoming 2025/26 PL season.

Antonee, known by his nickname 'Jedi' has made 50 appearances for the USMNT, scoring four goals and contributing eight assists. He has won three CONCACAF Nations Leagues with the USMNT, and won their 2024 Footballer of the Year award, the same season he won the award with Fulham.

Antonee Robinson has a current market value of around $47 million.

Tyler Adams (AFC Bournemouth)

Born in Wappingers Falls, NY, Tyler Adams began his career with New York Red Bulls in MLS before moving to Europe in 2019. Adams made his PL debut in 2022 with Leeds United before joining AFC Bournemouth in 2023.

Adams has made 55 appearances in the PL. The midfielder is not a player who often shows up in the stat sheet with goals and assists, but is the type of player to control the game on both sides of the ball when he can stay on the field.

The 26-year-old has dealt with significant injuries throughout his career but is hoping to play a consistent part in Bournemouth's 2025/26 campaign in preparation for the World Cup in 2026. If healthy, Adams will likely be a key part of Mauricio Pochettino's USMNT squad.

The New York native has played 50 games for the USMNT, won 2 CONCACAF Nations League titles, and won the 2022 Footballer of the Year for his home country.

Chris Richards (Crystal Palace)

Chris Richards has recently become a star man for his PL outfit. The kid from Birmingham, AL has inserted himself into Oliver Glasner's giant-slaying Crystal Palace squad on the right side of a back-three.

Richards played all 90 minutes for Palace's defense as they beat Manchester City 1-0 at Wembley stadium last year to win the club's first ever major trophy, the FA Cup. Richards and Crystal Palace also went on to defeat reigning PL champions Liverpool in penalties to win the Community Shield.

The center-back has made 59 Appearances for the Eagles of the PL, scoring 2 goals and adding one assist.

The Alabama native has made 31 appearances for the USMNT and if he continues to play well under Glasner, you should expect to see him starting on the right side of defense for Pochettino at the World Cup next year.

Brendan Aaronson (Leeds United)

Brenden Aaronson is a 24-year-old attacking midfielder who plays for newly promoted team Leeds United.

Born in Medford, NJ, Aaronson initially played for local team Philadelphia Union in MLS. Aaronson first earned his way to Europe with RB Salzburg in 2021 but has bounced around since, not playing for the same team in consecutive seasons since his days in Philadelphia.

This season will be his second PL campaign, his first coming with Leeds in 2022/23 where he scored one goal and added three assists in 36 appearances. He then went out on loan to Union Berlin in the German Bundesliga the following season.

The midfielder has made 53 appearances for the USMNT scoring nine goals and earning seven assists. Aaronson will be looking to have a strong campaign with Leeds to help them avoid relegation this coming PL season, but also to earn his way into the 2026 World Cup squad.

Aaronson has won three CONCACAF Nations Leagues with the USMNT.

• Matai Akinmboni (AFC Bournemouth): The defender signed from D.C. United and is yet to make a first-team appearance with Bournemouth.

• Gabriel Slonina (Chelsea FC): The goalkeeper signed for Chelsea from Chicago Fire and is likely to go out on loan this season. He has not yet made a professional appearance with the club but was listed on their Club World Cup winning roster. He is the first American to win this trophy.

• Julian Eyestone (Brentford): The goalkeeper just signed his first professional contract with Brentford after spending time in their youth academy.
