We're only two weeks into the college football season, and we've already seen plenty of surprising outcomes, big-time plays, and multiple players already starting their Heisman campaign.
In the game of the season thus far, Texas stormed back from down 23-3 to Ohio State to win it inside the final minute of the game - leading to a No. 1 ranking for the Longhorns.
The shocker of the weekend was Oklahoma State running up and down the field against then-ranked No. 6 Oregon in Stillwater. The Cowboys were fresh off a disastrous loss to Tulsa in Week 1, but Drew Mestemaker, Eric Morris, and the rest of the former North Texas men put a spear into the hearts of Oregon fans.
While conference play has yet to begin for the majority of teams, Week 3 still features some marquee matchups between big programs, starting with a ranked matchup between No. 22 Houston and No. 13 Texas Tech on Friday night.
The most anticipated game of the weekend is, of course, Lane Kiffin's return to Ole Miss - this time as the head coach of the LSU Tigers. Oxford will be rocking and fans are in for a doozy between No. 7 ranked LSU and No. 8 Ole Miss.
