Christian Pulisic Linked to NYCFC in Latest Transfer Rumors

Christian Pulisic is in the United States for the 2026 World Cup, and MLS rumors are indicating that he might not want to head back to Europe.

Christian Pulisic, one of the United States Men's National Teams most important players at the 2026 World Cup, has been the subject of transfer rumors about a potential move to MLS.

Pulisic has played his entire professional career in Europe, but the Hershey, PA native could find himself playing full-time in the United States if the rumors are true.

Pulisic currently plays for AC Milan in Italy's Serie A, but MLS side New York City FC is apparently keen on bringing the star back to the States. NYCFC has been keen on signing big named players in the past, and outside of Lionel Messi (who already plays in MLS for Inter Miami), Pulisic would be one of the biggest names that an MLS club could sign.

Pulisic already has significant name recognition in America, and is widely considered the best American player since Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan.

The signing would not only be huge for NYCFC, but also for the MLS as a whole. The league has historically lost many of it's bright young stars to league's in Europe, and do not typically sign big stars until the twilight of their careers.

Pulisic, 27, is in the midst of his prime, and bringing him back to MLS would be a massive win the league.

It's hard to know for certain if Pulisic joining MLS is going to happen, but there is no denying that NYCFC would welcome the opportunity to sign the American star.
