Davis Alexander, the quarterback of the red-hot Montreal Alouettes, is the clear frontrunner for the CFL Most Outstanding Player award in 2026. Alexander has passed for the most yards league (5,257) and has led the Alouettes to an 13-3 record through 16 games.
The 27-year-old has two elite pass catchers, Tyson Philpot (1,809 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns) and Tyler Sneed (1,474 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns), who make his job in the pocket look easy.
Alexander's top weapon, Philpot, has been running wild on opposing defenders all season long and has become the second favorite to win the Most Outstanding Player award. Philpot leads the CFL in receiving yards and touchdowns.
