Carlos Alcaraz has already won the first grand slam of 2026, defeating Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open.
With three Gland Slams left on the calendar, Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are two of the favorites to take home some of the most prestigious silverware in Tennis, ranked #1 and #2 in the World respectively.
The Spaniard and Italian have split the last nine grand slams, with Alcaraz winning five, and Sinner winning four.
Alcaraz, 22, and Sinner, 24, are both early in their respective careers and have a long runway to becoming two of the greatest to ever player the sport.
They have faced each other 15 times in their careers, and three times in Grand Slam Finals. Alcaraz is leading the career series 10-5, and has beaten Sinner two of the three times they've faced off in Grand Slam finals.
The last man to win a grand slam not named Alcaraz or Sinner was Novak Djokovic, who won the 2023 US Open. With Djokovic coming to the end of his career, the sport of tennis will need some if it's young players to step up to dethrone the two stars.
