Kirill Kaprizov is currently the highest paid player in the NHL, but Connor McDavid is expected to sign the largest contract in NHL history this coming year. McDavid is in the final year of his contract, and is one of if not the best player in the NHL.
Sidney Crosby's huge 12-year contract expired last season, and is the only contract on this list that is not currently active.
Shea Weber signed his contract in 2012, and it will finally expire at the end of the season. Weber is currently 40-years-old, and making over $7 million per year.
