Pereira is the fastest UFC athlete to secure championship titles in two different divisions, and is one of only eleven athletes to hold titles in multiple divisions.

Over the course of his career, Pereira has defeated seven former UFC champions.

A look back at Pereira's championship success

In a short span, Alex not only captured championship titles but defended them.

He won the Middleweight Championship title at UFC 281 in November 2022 by defeating Israel Adesanya via TKO in the fifth round.

Pereira is a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion who successfully defended the title three times before vacating the belt to pursue the Heavyweight Championship.

Alex Pereira won his first Light Heavyweight title in November 2023 at UFC 295 where he defeated Jiri Prochazka by TKO. Then went on to defend his title three times in 2024 against Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka, and Khalil Rountree Jr.

After losing the belt to Magomed Ankalaev via a five-round unanimous decision in March 2025, Pereira reclaimed the Light Heavyweight title later that year by defeating Ankalaev in the first round.
