LIV Golf returns to South Korea for the second year, but for the first time they are competing at Asiad Country Club in South Korea.
The tournament will begin on Thursday, May 28 with the final round on Sunday, May, 31 2026.
Last year at LIV Golf Korea Bryson DeChambeau shot 19-under and defeated Crushers GC teammate Charles Howell III by two strokes. Crushers GC team swept LIV Golf Korea winning both the team and individual titles in 2025.
The Korean Golf Club team will be one to watch this week as they compete on home soil. The team features three players:
Byeong Hun An: Youngest winner of the U.S. Amateur Championship, he is currently the teams captain.
Younghan Song: Defeated Jordan Spieth by one stroke at the SMBC Singapore Open in 2016.
Minkyu Kim: Won two titles on the PGA EuroPro Tour.
Each player has had breakthrough moments of their own, but the team has never captured a LIV Golf team title. This week feels like the perfect opportunity to create team history.
LIV Golf Korea will take place at Asiad Country Club in Busan, South Korea. The course is a Par-70 and 7,024 yards.
Asiad Country Club is no stranger to hosting top-tier talent. The championship venue was originally built in 2002 for the Asian Games.
Since then it has hosted the LPGA Tour's BMW Ladies Championship and now LIV Golf Korea.
LIV Golf Korea has a purse of $30 million. The individual title features a $20 million purse and the winner earns $4 million.
The team purse is $10 million with a $3 million winner's share.
The 72-hole stroke play format will feature no cuts. There will be 57 players, 13 teams, and 5 wild cards in the LIV Golf Korea field.
Fan favorites like the 2026 LIV Golf individual points leader Jon Rahm, Open Champion winner Cameron Smith, and veteran Dustin Johnson will all be in the field.
There are a few notable players who will not be in the field this week. Phil Mickelson continues to take time away from the game as he is dealing with a family health matter.
Tyrrell Hatton has withdrawn from the event after welcoming his first child with his wife last week.
LIV Golf events use a shotgun start, meaning all 57 players in 19 groups of 3 will tee off at the same time on different holes across the course. (Two groups will tee off of hole 1 due to the extended field).
Below are the start times for all four rounds.
