After a grueling 64-team tournament, just four teams remain alive at the Men's College World Series.
North Carolina, West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Georgia are the four programs still with championship hopes.
Neither of these four teams have won it all since Oklahoma did in 1994 - UNC and West Virginia have never won the MCWS.
UNC and West Virginia will square off in the top-half of the bracket, while Oklahoma and Georgia battle in the bottom-half.
Georgia won the SEC regular season and the SEC tournament and are looking to be the third team since 2019 to win those along with the MCWS championship in the same season.
The Bulldogs knocked off Texas twice to advance to this point, but they'll have to beat Oklahoma twice to make the championship series.
North Carolina has made 11 World Series' since the turn of the century, but remain without a title. They currently have the second-most trips to the MCWS without winning it all, but there is belief that this squad can finally break through. The Heels just need one more win against West Virginia to make the championship series.
Oklahoma is the only unranked team in the semifinals, but their SEC gauntlet prepared them for this tournament. They shut out Alabama 9-0 at the start of the MCWS and didn't look back with a win against Georgia on June 15. One more win against Georgia will put them in the championship.
This is the Mountaineers' first appearance in the MCWS, where they have beaten Cinderella story Troy twice in the tournament. After losing to Carolina, they'll need to beat them twice to get to the championship.
