Chelsea's Ben Chilwell is set for a potential career-reviving loan move to Crystal Palace until the end of the season.
Frozen out by Blues boss Enzo Maresca, the left-back will strengthen Oliver Glasner's camp as they look to crack the top half of the Premier League.
Chilwell's arrival will provide the green light for Jeffrey Schlupp's departure, who is reportedly heading to Celtic on loan, while Palace central defender Rob Holding is having a medical at Championship promotion contenders Sheffield United.
We're into the closing stages of the winter transfer window and there are still plenty of deals to be done.
Tottenham - Nearing the completion of a deal for Mathys Tel, latest reports indicate that Spurs are reviving a move for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi. The France international had been the subject of interest from Aston Villa.
Manchester City - A deal for Nico Gonzalez is in the works as the defending Premier League champions look set to take their January spending to over £200m with the purchase of the Porto midfielder.
Aston Villa - Marco Asensio is expected to join the Villans on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
Chelsea - Incomings and outgoings are on the agenda at Stamford Bridge with Joao Felix set to depart on loan, while a deal has been agreed which will see Saint-Etienne teenager Mathis Amougou head to SW5.
Tottenham are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich. One of the most coveted youngsters in Europe, the French forward had reportedly rejected Spurs earlier in the window but with first-team opportunities in Bavaria at a premium, Tel was later swayed following a one-to-one conversation with Ange Postecoglou. What will he bring to Spurs and how will he fit into Postecoglou's plans? bet365 Sports & Betting News writer Ellis Statham has all the details.
Chelsea's Joao Felix is reportedly close to agreeing a six-month loan move to Milan. It's been an underwhelming return to Stamford Bridge for the Portuguese forward, who only joined the Blues in a £45m deal in August. Primarily utilised in the cup competitions, Felix has made three appearances in the Premier League under Enzo Maresca.
With a move to Tottenham appearing imminent, we've suspended betting on Mathys Tel. bet365's Sports and Trading expert Steve Freeth said: "It's been a very busy market considering it's only been up for a few days with Tel finally joining Spurs. "Tottenham were a 40/1 chance just a few hours ago with it being reported that the North London club were out of the equation. "We saw money for him to join Manchester United and Arsenal on Monday morning, as well as being 1/3 about him staying in Munich, now he's packing his bags for North London after all. Manic!"
The move had been on the cards prior to deadline day with Ferguson undergoing a medical this morning.
No issues have presented themselves, and the Brighton forward will hope to get more minutes under his belt at the London Stadium.
A serious knee injury curtailed his development last season with a recent ankle injury further restricting his game time, but with West Ham desperately needing more forward options, the loan move should suit all parties.
Mathys Tel's agent has posted an image of the Bayern forward on a private plane with London thought to be the destination.
It appears Bayern have backed down over demands for a permanent deal, with Tottenham set to sign the teenager on loan until the end of the season.
Although they were likely already pursuing midfield reinforcements, Manchester City's 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Arsenal on Sunday has certainly emphasised the importance of getting someone in before the transfer window closes.
While none have been forthcoming so far in January, the club have been linked with Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez.
Find out more about the 23-year-old here.
Despite struggling for game time at Stamford Bridge, Christopher Nkunku looks set to stay at Stamford Bridge until the summer at least.
Reports suggested the 27-year-old could be moved on in January as one of the club's higher earners with Manchester United linked with a loan move.
There's no denying the Frenchman's talents, but his fitness was an issue last season, and he doesn't seem to fit in with Enzo Maresca's plans.
In total, Nkunku has made just five Premier League starts since his move to West London, but it appears he's determined to add to that this term rather than seek football elsewhere.
As seen in the list below, there have been some Premier League greats who've joined the league in the winter, and we delved into some of the best, putting cases forward for who comes out on top.
The Debate: Who is the best Premier League January transfer window signing of all time?
While it feels that more clubs are better run these days than to need to dip into the transfer market in January, a number of the Premier League's best players over the years have made the switch in January, with Virgil van Dijk, Luis Suarez and Nemanja Vidic all joining in the winter. They of course make our Top 10 January transfers , but who takes top spot and who fills out the rest of our top 10? 10 - Jesse Lingard 9 - Jermain Defoe 8 - ? 7 - Bruno Fernandes 6 - ? 5 - Philippe Coutinho 4 - Patrice Evra 3 - ? 2 - ? 1 - ?
In what was one of the summer's most protracted transfer sagas, with Newcastle seeing multiple bids for Marc Guehi rejected, Tottenham are the last club to be knocked back by Crystal Palace.
Spurs have already strengthened their back line with the signing of Kevin Danso from Lens, and are looking to add Guehi to their ranks before the England centre-back's contract reaches the one-year mark to expiry in the summer.
Having sent Evan Ferguson out on loan to West Ham for the rest of the season, Brighton have moved to enhance their front line with Stefanos Tzimas signing from PAOK, although the 19-year-old is set to stay in Germany for the rest of the season. Tzimas moved on loan to 2. Bundesliga side Nurnburg last summer and has 10 goals in 16 league games this term. With Danny Welbeck, Joao Pedro and Georginio Rutter already in their ranks, competition for places up front for the Seagulls could intensify next season...
Despite coming through the Tottenham academy, the first most of us heard about Marcus Edwards was during his breakthrough 2022/23 campaign, where he scored against his old club in the UEFA Champions League. His progress has stalled since, however, with game time harder to come by this term, and he's made the switch to Burnley on loan, reuniting with Scott Parker, who he previously worked with at Tottenham's academy.
What has been the most volatile market in the January transfer window now appears to and rather anti-climactically, with Mathys Tel odds-on to stay at Bayern Munich.
The France forward made his intention to leave clear as he went in search of more regular football - prompting the rejection of a move to Chelsea, where competition for places is too high.
Arsenal were odds-on, Tottenham looked close to completing the signing, as did Manchester United, now any deal looks to be off.
Reports from Sky in Germany revealed that Bayern have rejected a loan move for Tel, seeking a permanent deal.
One of the most interesting transfer sagas of the winter sees Marcus Rashford make the surprise move to Villa Park. The likes of Milan, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain were all linked with Rashford looking for a move abroad, but with none forthcoming, Aston Villa have taken the Manchester United forward on loan until the end of the season.
bet365's Sports and Trading expert Steve Freeth said: "Marcus Rashford has been given the chance to resurrect his career at Aston Villa and we’re looking at how many Premier League goals he’ll score this season with four already to his name.
"Unai Emery is reported to be keen to put an arm around the 27 year-old in a bid to get the best out of him – we make Rashford a 5/1 shot to bag at least six more to reach double figures.
We have of course seen a potent Rashford in front of goal, scoring 17 goals in the 2019/20 season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and reaching the same figure in Erik ten Hag's first campaign, but the 27-year-old has endured a rather miserable 18 months, resulting in his exit from Old Trafford.
A deal sheet? What is that, I hear you ask? Let us explain.
When against the clock, a deal sheet enables a club to request additional time to submit documentation when they're processing a player transfer.
This will likely be a prominent factor in the closing stages of today's Deadline Day as teams attempt to maximise the time available to them in order to complete deals.
