The final week of the PGA Tour regular season is upon us as players battle to reach the FedExCup play-offs at the Wyndham Championship from Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina.
Only the top 70 players will reach next week's FedEx St Jude Championship with Mac Meissner, Keegan Bradley, Andrew Putnam, Johnny Keefer and Jason Day the five players closest to the top 70. Those five will all be pegging it up at Sedgefield, needing a strong week to reach the post-season; indeed, each of the next 40 players outside the current top 70 will all be making the trip to Greensboro in a bid to boost their ranking.
Cameron Young has no such concerns this week; the world number three and defending champion heads to Sedgefield in a bid to defend the title that finally got the ball rolling;. Young won his maiden PGA Tour title at last year's Wyndham Championship, going on to take the Players Championship and Cadillac Championship in 2026.
Patrick Cantlay is the current second favourite, with the prodigious Jackson Koivun third favourite. Justin Thomas, Ben Griffin and Hideki Matsuyama are also prominent in the betting.
