It may be one of the newest additions to the PDC's Women's Tour calendar but the Women's World Matchplay is already one of the most illustrious events on the circuit.
Staged at Blackpool's iconic Winter Gardens, and taking place during the PDC's World Matchplay event, the female only version has already been won by some of the game's biggest stars.
Fallon Sherrock was the maiden winner in 2022, seeing off Aileen de Graaf in the showpiece, before Beau Greaves won the first of her two titles 12 months later against Mikuru Suzuki.
Greaves followed-up her victory with a second triumph in 2024, seeing off Sherrock 6-3, before Lisa Ashton added her name to the roll of honour with a dramatic 6-5 success over the same opponent.
