Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Marshall Munetsi is the subject of reported interest from Nottingham Forest.
Munetsi signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Wolves in February 2025 after impressing at French side Reims over a six-year period.
The Zimbabwe international featured on 16 occasions for Wolves at the end of the 2024/25 season under the stewardship of current Nottm Forest manager Vitor Pereira.
He then started last season as a key part of Pereira's team before the Portuguese manager was sacked following a poor start.
Munetsi featured 13 times in the Premier League in the first half of the season before being loaned out to Paris FC in January.
After a eight-game spell in which he scored three times, Munetsi has since returned to Molineux following the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.
Munetsi's future at Wolves looks set to be elsewhere after not being deemed part of Rob Edwards' plans for the second half of the season.
Edwards is attempting to build a squad that is capbale of challenging for promotion and an immediate return to the top-flight next season.
Munetsi is a player that could be sold to generate funds as a part of considerable squad overhaul in the Midlands.
French news outlet Jeunes Footeux have reported that Munetsi could be in line with a move to Nottm Forest and a reunion with former manager Pereira.
The player is likely to cost in the region of €10 million and he could be viewed as a cost-effective replacement for Elliot Anderson, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City.
Elsewhere, a number of Qatari and Saudi Arabian clubs are believed to be interested but the reported fee involved may price some options out of the deal.
