The blistering heat in Miami may not be the only weather-related factor England will have to contend with ahead of their World Cup quarter-final against Norway.
The US National Weather Service (NWS) issued a heat advisory for the Sunshine State on Saturday, with temperatures likely to be around 33C (91F) at the time of kick-off, while the humidity will ensure it feels even hotter.
Not only that, but the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WGBT) - which measures air temperature, humidity and surface temperature - will also sit around 29C to 32C. Fifpro guideliens says a WBGT above 28C should lead to the "delay or postponement of matches".
Another concern for both England and Norway is the risk of electrical storms which could delay the kick-off time.
Isolated thunderstorms had been forecast in the vicinity of the Hard Rock Stadium approaching kick-off time. If there is lightning within eight miles of the stadium then kick-off could be delayed.
Thunderstorms interrupted England's last-16 win over Mexico as it was forced to start an hour later than scheduled due to the weather around the Azteca in Mexico City.
Will Norway v England be delayed?
At present, there is no suggestion that the match will be delayed and kick-off remains at its original scheduled time of 18:00 local time (22:00 BST).
Updated local weather forecasts are suggesting the thunderstorms will arrive late on Saturday night when the match should have concluded.
Light rain is now expected for the start of the match.
In the event of a match being delayed by thunder and lightning, there has to be a full 30 minutes of no lightning strikes within the eight-mile radius of the stadium for the game to then restart.
