This weekend will see La Liga given something of a makeover, with 16 of its 20 teams wearing retro shirts.
Segunda Division clubs are also partaking, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Gefate and Rayo Vallecano wearing their regular kits as Spanish football pays homage to each side's history and tradition.
It's not only clubs who are involved, with referees changing to a retro white kit and a vintage match ball will be used. Even the graphics used in broadcasts will have a throwback feel to them.
Atletico Madrid, who typically wear a dark blue for away matches, will switch to a blue and white halved shirt with an old badge used. Girona, whose home kit is white with red pin stripes this season, will revert to a red and white striped version, also using their old crest.
Levante will revert from their red and blue striped shirt to a striking throwback with a plain white shirt with a black sash. The manufacturer is white on the white part of the shirt, with the crest black on the sash with the sponsor also removed from the shirt.
La Liga director Jaime Blanco said: "It allows us to bring the past into the present while continuing to build experiences and strengthen the legacy that emotionally connects with supporters.
"Presenting this collection during Spain's leading fashion week is the perfect platform to project that identity beyond the field and position soccer at the heart of the cultural and creative conversation."
The kits were unveiled on 19th March at Madrid Fashion week as part of a collaboration between football and fashion, with La Liga becoming the first of Europe's big five leagues to introduce such a campaign.
Similar campaigns have been deployed in Australia's National Rugby League and the Australian Football League.
