Arthur Fery has continued his excellent grass court season by beating Otto Virtanen to reach the third round of Wimbledon for the first time in his career.
The British number three came into Wimbledon full of confidence after reaching a first ATP quarter-final at Queen's Club and has produced some great tennis at his home Grand Slam.
In his tournament opener, Fery impressively overcame a slow start to secure a comfortable 3-6 6-2 6-2 6-1 victory over the dangerous Damir Dzumhur.
The 23-year-old would have been expecting to play number four seed Ben Shelton in round two, but the American was beaten in a match tiebreak by Finland's Otto Virtanen and Fery has taken full advantage of the draw opening up.
The Brit showed all of his character once again as he came from a set down to record a four-set second round victory on Court 18 and break new ground at Grand Slam level.
