Hearts are a point clear of Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with just one game to go as we approach one of the most dramatic finishes to a season in football history.
It has been a sensational campaign for Hearts, who have led the way for much of the campaign and achieved superb victories over Celtic, Rangers and Edinburgh rivals Hibs.
Now backed by Tony Bloom and his Jamestown Analytics firm, the Jambos' recruitment was overhauled this summer, signing unknown players from all across Europe, including Claudio Braga, the Portuguese forward from Norwegian second tier side Aalesunds, who has scored 14 league goals so far this season.
It's got the Tynecastle faithful dreaming of what would be an incredible title success and their destiny remains in their own hands as they will be lifting the trophy at Celtic Park if they can avoid defeat on Saturday afternoon.
Hearts last won the league title back in 1960, but were runners-up three times between the mid-1980s and early 1990s. While they were a well beaten second in 1988 and 1992, Hearts had the title in their grasp in 1986, needing just a draw against Dundee, only to concede two late goals to lose the title on goal difference to Celtic.
But with manager Derek McInnes at the helm and Bloom's recruits playing their part, Hearts are on the verge of laying those demons to rest.
