Like it or loathe it, nobody can argue that Misfits Boxing hasn't brought new eyes onto the sport.
Fight fans packed out London's Copper Box Arena this past weekend to take in the promotional banner's latest bill of action; one that was topped by the showdown between former TOWIE star Joey Essex and viral TikTokker Dapper Laughs.
The fight, as expected, certainly wasn't one for the purists, but it did still provide some genuine entertainment for those to have taken in the event in its flesh and the thousands of others to have tuned in on DAZN.
There was plenty of controversy as Essex, who looked handsomely beaten over the four rounds, clung on to his unbeaten record by virtue of a split-draw.
Whilst boos echoed around the venue upon the verdict, there's no doubt that fans will come flocking back the next time that Misfits Boxing rolls into town.
The big question though is when will that be?
Find out the answer to that question below...
Misfits Boxing announced their latest upcoming card in early October, with the talented domestic cruiserweight Viddal Riley hoping to maintain his world title charge against Frenchman Seydi Coupe.
The bout will top the bill at London's Wembley Arena on Saturday November 14 with Riley set to put his European title on the line after his hopes of fighting David Nyika for the IBF's 200lbs strap were dashed.
The Londoner put himself in position for a first crack at a world title after producing a near punch-perfect display to overcome Poland's Mateusz Masternak; just days after the bout had been upgraded to an IBF eliminator following their decision to relinquish Jai Opetaia of his belt.
However, the Australian's subsequent decision to file a lawsuit against the governing body for "conspiring against him" has resulted in the IBF opting against sanctioning the Nyika vs Riley fight.
That decision has paved the way for Riley to agree to a dust-up with Coupe, who is in mandatory position for a shot at his European championship after extending his record to 14-0 with a comfortable stoppage of Ervin Dzinic in May.
The fight card, which is a Misfits Pro event, also features Zelfa Barret vs Gavin Gwynne and Yaser Al Ghena vs Ben Marksby.
Misfits Boxing is an influencer and crossover combat promotion, while Misfits Pro is a separate traditional professional boxing division focused on sanctioned, high-level operators.
Riley is one of the standout names fighting under the Misfits Pro banner alongside esteemed heavyweights such as Deontay Wilder and Derek Chisora as well as the recently signed Michael "Venom" Page.
