Kimi Antonelli is building an unassailable lead at the top of the Drivers' Championship as we enter the closing stages of the Formula 1 season.
The Italian extended his advantage at the summit to 102 points over George Russell following the Singapore Grand Prix as he capitalised on his Mercedes team-mate crashing in the sprint race.
While it was Max Verstappen who took the chequered flag at the Marina Bay Circuit, Antonelli was still able to capitalise on Russell starting from the back of the grid due to a grid penalty as he finished third, six places ahead of Russell.
Finishing on the podium in all but three of the 17 races so far this season, Antonelli has been a beacon of consistency and his sustained excellence is the main factor behind his commanding lead in the championship.
With just six races of the campaign remaining, it's going to require a special turnaround from Russell to deny Antonelli a maiden world title, and we've assessed the earliest date that the 20-year-old can be crowned the youngest world champion.

What's the earliest race Antonelli can win the title?
Six rounds remain in the 2026 season and the United States Grand Prix is next on the F1 calendar.
That means a maximum of 150 points (not including the bonus point for fastest lap) is still available between now and the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December.
If Antonelli claims the maximum 25 points on offer in Austin and Russell finishes no higher than ninth, then Antonelli would be crowned world champion.
The aforementioned result would provide Antonelli with an insurmountable lead heading to Mexico City with only 125 points remaining.
The most likely scene of Antonelli's coronation will be the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for the Mexican Grand Prix.
If Antonelli maintains his current advantage of 102 points, Russell will have simply run out of races by the time the Mexican Grand Prix concludes.
