Spain's last defeat came on 22nd March 2024 when they were beaten 1-0 by Colombia in a friendly at the London Stadium.

Luis de la Fuente's side have since since gone 39 games unbeaten in all competitions - winning 30 and drawing nine matches in the process.

The 1-0 World Cup final win against Argentina saw Spain break the longest ever unbeaten run by a European side, which was Italy's record between October 2018 and September 2021.

Spain have since extended their sensational streak to 42 matches by winning all four of their opening 2026/27 UEFA Nations League fixtures.
