After going under the radar in the early stages of this summer's tournament, Spain produced back-to-back dominant performances over France and Argentina.

Spain's last defeat came on 22nd March 2024 when they were beaten 1-0 by Colombia in a friendly at the London Stadium.

Luis de la Fuente's side have since since gone 38 games unbeaten in all competitions - winning 29 and drawing nine matches in the process.

The 1-0 win against Argentina has seen Spain break the longest ever unbeaten run by a European side, which was Italy's record between October 2018 and September 2021.
