(Jake Paul) - Why are you doing this - why are you fighting Anthony Joshua?
"I like to challenge myself, I like to fight the biggest, the best, any time, any place, I truly mean that!
"I know what I am capable of and I am here to shock the world.
"I see him and what he is capable of and we are going to go to war. People say I am out of my mind, but I have gotten to where I am today because of delusional optimism.
"So, it's delusion until it's not because of look at where I am today - nobody believed this would be possible when I started people, but I have shocked them, just as I will shock them again on December 19."
(Jake Paul) - How did you come to pick Anthony Joshua as your next opponent?
"Anthony Joshua was always in the plans after Gervonta (Davis).
"We started speaking to a number of caps. Tommy Fury was scared, as usual, and wanted more time. Ryan Garcia was scared. Terence Crawford said yes, but wanted to do it later next year.
"Anthony Joshua said yes and he was ready to go in December, so let's run it."
(Anthony Joshua) - What was your initial reaction when you found out the possibility of this fight?
"You have to give credit to Jake Paul and his team because they reached out to me to be fair.
"This is a great opportunity for me, an opportunity to come back and fight. I wanted to take 12 months out of the game, which I have done, but it was time to get back to work.
"I was actually planning on getting back to boxing anyway, actually it would have been this weekend if I had it my way, and then this opportunity presented itself.
"It's massive, colossal and it's bringing marketing ability together with ability - those two worlds collide and now you have Jake Paul versus Anthony Joshua.
"We are bringing America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Nigeria, the whole world together to witness this - two guys who want to put on a great show."
(Anthony Joshua) - Do you think Jake Paul is crazy for taking this fight on?
"I don't think he is crazy, I think Jake is a logical person and he knows what he can do.
"He has good people around him who know what he can do and they know something about Jake that maybe a lot of people don't know.
"I know things about myself that all you guys don't know, and Jake is the same and his people will see that.
"All he needs is belief in himself and for me to have belief in myself, which is why we are here today and nobody else. If we didn't have that then we wouldn't be sat here.
"It isn't about Jake being crazy, he knows what he can do and that's all that matters. Good luck to him."
(Jake Paul) - What makes you confident that you can shock the world and beat one of the best heavyweights on the planet?
"Look, he is one of the best heavyweights ever, but I truly believe that fighting a smaller man can be hard because of the speed difference, because of the foot-speed, because of the angles and because of the head being off-centre.
"All of that power is great and he has knocked people out, so I have got to avoid that one shot for eight rounds, which I feel I am capable of doing.
"I believe that when I am bouncing around the ring, jabbing, weaving and doing all of these things, I know I can pick him apart and make this a really good contest.
"People keep saying 'I respect Jake Paul for getting in there...' NO respect me because I am about to win!"
(Anthony Joshua) - What do you feel about people feeling you are ruining your legacy by taking on this fight?
"I will just address people who are for me and not for people who are against me.
"People will say 'what do you feel about negative comments', but what should I be bothered about negative comments for?
"I don't care about people who don't believe in what I am doing. I just focus on people who believe in me and people who are supporting me."
(Anthony Joshua) - What do you see when you sit and look at Jake Paul?
"I see talent, I see focus and I see a good team - nothing negative.
"He's here to do his job. I could sit up here and try to address all the things that Jake doesn't do good, but I will be fighting the Jake Paul that has done everything right on December 19.
"Let me focus on that because he is a good person, he does what he does, he has a great team around him and pouts in the work, which is why he is sat here right now.
"Any one in the world who works harder than the next person deserves to be a front-runner and Jake is a frontrunner in the boxing world right now."
(Jake Paul) - How much do you expect to weigh for this fight?
"I was obviously cutting (weight) for the Gervonta fight, so it's been a little tough getting the strength back up.
"Anywhere between 215lbs and 225lbs, we will see."
(Anthony Joshua) - It's been well over a year since you last fought... why?
"I've been trying to create businesses on the side for a long time now, but I have wanted to put all of my energy into sports, so I have been shutting down my businesses.
"I took 12 months out of the game to realign my vision board, consolidate things and trim down my team.
"I said last year that I need 12 months to do that, so I took that time out. I looked at the landscape and changed a lot of things in my life, which I needed to do."
(Anthony Joshua) - Will Ben Davison be in your corner, and still your trainer, for the fight with Jake Paul?
"No, Ben Davison won't be there - I said that being in London was too distracting for me, so I have been doing some work with Team Usyk in Spain.
"He (Oleksandr) is one of the best in the world, actually no, he is the best in the world, so I wanted to surround myself with him and his people to gain an insight into everything he has achieved.
"It's been phenomenal. Igor (Vovchanchyn) will be in my corner on fight night. I've been with them for a couple of months now."
(Jake Paul) - What do you make of these changes?
"He's one of the best heavyweights in the world and he's training with the best heavyweight in the world, so it's great for him.
"We expect nothing less. I want the best version of Anthony Joshua on December 19 because this will be the best version of Jake Paul."
(Jake Paul) - Are you relishing the chance to throw a major spanner in Anthony Joshua's plans for 2026?
"Absolutely, I am working hard for this, incredibly hard.
"Look don't book things up, don't arrange flights and hotels because I am knocking this guy out and changing the landscape of boxing.
"We all knwo what happened last time Anthoyn came over to the United States, he had all sorts of plans but Andy Ruiz stopped those plans. This will be Andy Ruiz 2.0.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year."
(Anthony Joshua) - Could you be looking too far forward with all of these future boxing plans that are being spoken about behind the scenes?
"My plans are to break his face, break his body up and stomp all over him - I know what's in my heart and in my mind.
"I am here to prove that I am the better fighter and I will do that until I stop fighting.
"Other fights are opportunities, they aren't signed and sealed. The only one is Jake Paul and that is the only fight that is occupying my mind right now."
(Jake Paul) - Some of the talk has been about Anthony Joshua's chin - do you feel there is a weakness there?
"I just know I have the power and timing - the shots that you don't see coming.
"I have power that I don't get credit for, I have knocked people out and I have won the knockout of the year.
"He's got to be careful because I have the timing, the speed and the tricks up my sleeve to land a shot that can put him to sleep. 100 percent."
