Jake Paul has announced his clash with two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will officially go ahead on the 19th December.
The social media star turned boxer announced the bout in a post on social media on Monday afternoon, with the pair set to fight over eight three-minute rounds next month.
The showdown, which will go ahead as a professional-sanctioned fight - rather than an exhibition - will take place at the 20,000-capacity Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida and broadcast live worldwide on Netflix.
Paul had been originally scheduled to take on lightweight champion Gervonta Davis this month in an exhibition before the bout was scrapped amid a civil lawsuit against Davis.
Former unified heavyweight king Joshua has not fought since September of 2024 when he was KO'd in the fifth round against Daniel Dubois at Wembley.
The fight will also mark just the second step up to heavyweight of Paul's burgeoning in-ring career.
Paul's most recent outing came at cruiserweight when he defeated former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr via unanimous decision over ten rounds in May.
His only previous venture up to boxing's glamour division came in November of last year when he weighed in at 227lbs before defeating Mike Tyson via decision in the first boxing event to be live-streamed on Netflix.
The 28-year-old American has previously stated his desire to win a world championship in boxing, and is currently ranked in the top 15 in the world at cruiserweight by the WBA.
