Sweden's superstar pole vaulter Armand Duplantis is aiming for a fourth European Championship gold and another world record at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham on Sunday.
Since making his European Championship debut at Berlin 2018, Duplantis has quite literally taken the pole vault world to another level, winning two Olympic golds and three world titles while breaking the world record an astonishing 15 times.
Duplantis has never broken the world record at a European Athletics Championships, but 6.32 metres is set to be the target having reached 6.31 at the Mondo Classic in March earlier this year.
