Popular heavyweight Dave Allen returns to the ring this evening as he takes on journeyman heavyweight Dan Garber in his hometown of Doncaster.
After being stopped in three rounds by world ranker heavyweight Filip Hrgovic in May Allen bounced back with a four-round decision over Ross McGuigan last month.
Now the White Rhino will box in Doncaster for just the third time in his professional career as he stars on a non-televised card at the 2,000-capacity Doncaster Dome.
His opponent Garber is an experienced operator who has shared the ring with the likes of Moses Itauma, Hughie Fury, and the man Allen is scheduled to face in September, Thomas Carty.
Allen and Carty are set to serve as the chief support for Katie Taylor's farewell bout against Flora Pili, but the Yorkshireman first needs to handle his business on Saturday night.

Dave Allen is scheduled to face Dan Garber at the Doncaster Dome this evening as part of a 12-fight bill of boxing promoted by Mark Bateson.
The heavyweight bout will be contested over four rounds, and will feature on the undercard of the event featuring the likes of Kash Ali, Joe Hayden and Ellie Hellewell.
Garber won five of his first six fights as a professional and has already fought three times in 2026.
In his most recent outing the 6ft 5in southpaw was stopped by undefeated heavyweight prospect Ergal Elezaj in the fifth round back in May.
The fight between Dave Allen and Dan Garber is expected to get underway at around 21:00 BST.
The fight card is not set to be televised but tickets are still available on the Doncaster Culture & Leisure Trust's website.
