West Ham United are looking to secure a deal to sign talented midfielder Martin Adeline from French outfit Troyes.
Adeline played a starring role for Troyes in the 2025/26 season as the club secured the Ligue 2 title and promotion to the top-tier of French football.
The 22-year-old registered 10 goals and 10 assists during the campaign and was one of the league's best players.
The playmaker would provide plenty of versaility in midfield as well as recent experience of playing in a promotion-winning team.
The Daily Mail have reported that West Ham are pursuing a deal as they come to terms with the fact that a number of players could leave the club following their relegation to the Championship.
West Ham, who are the favourites to be promoted next season, look set to lose Mateus Fernandes this summer as a number of European clubs circle around the talented midfielder.
Fellow midfielder Soungountou Magassa has been linked with a move away and the Hammers could find themselves short in the middle of the pitch.
Adeline is likely to cost in the region of £8 million, which is a fee that is not likely to concern the club's hierarchy.
Nuno Espirito Santo is craving reinforcements as he builds a squad that is ready to challenge for promotion and Adeline could be a vital piece of that jigsaw.
Whilst Fernandes and Magassa could depart, the West Ham manager will also be looking to keep hold of other key players such as Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville if they are to sustain a fight at the top of the table.
