A trio of Championship clubs are reportedly monitoring the situation of Viking midfielder Tobias Moi.
On the Minute have reported that West Ham have joined Birmingham and Middlesbrough in keeping tabs on the player who has been impressing in Norway.
Moi has broken into the first team for the defending Eliteserien champions this season and he has played a part in guiding Viking to the top of the table in the current campaign.
The 20-year-old midfielder is also capable of operating at right-back and he has recently made his debut for Norway's Under 21s team.
West Ham have already brought in Edvin Austbø from Viking this summer and they are exploring the possibility of entering talks with the club for Moi.
The Hammers are currently second in the Championship table and they are particularly keen to develop young players who have considerable potential.
However, Birmingham and Middlesbrough are also looking to feature in the upper echelons of the Championship table and they represent stern competition in any race to sign the player.
Moi's contract at Viking expires in 2029 but a sizeable bid could be difficult to turn down for the Norwegian champions.
