Tyson Fury has announced that he will face Mariusz Wach in Thailand on July 24 as part of his preparations for his long-awaited domestic dust-up with Anthony Joshua later in the year.
The return of the Gypsy King will come 24 hours before AJ marks his return to action against the unheralded Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury announced his retirement from the sport last year following successive defeats at the hands of former undisputed king Oleksandr Usyk, but performed a dramatic U-turn 12 months later.
The Morecambe man saw off the dangerous Arslanbek Makhmudov in front of over 60,000 spectators at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, and then proceeded to call out Joshua, who had been watching at ringside.
Both Fury and Saudi Arabian boxing bankroller Turki Alalshikh suggested that a deal had been agreed for the two to finally square-off, but Joshua played down that talk, saying no contract had been signed.
A few weeks later though, news broke that a deal was in place for the colossal clash to take place later this year, albeit only after both men had come through warm-up fights.
Joshua's clash with Prenga was announced at the end of May, with Fury's plans now seemingly set-in-stone too, with the veteran Pole, Wach, lined-up as his next assignment.
"The Gypsy King returns on an historic night in Thailand," Goldstar Promotions posted on social media on Tuesday night.

"Ticket profits will be donated to local charities, as Tyson Fury is also set to be presented with the inaugural WBC Boxing Humanitarian title."
Forty-six-year-old Wach has won 39 of his 51 professional bouts to date, with 20 of those coming inside the scheduled distance.
He has however won just three of his most recent 10 clashes, whilst he has been beaten by both Dillian Whyte, in 2019, and Frazer Clarke, in 2023.
Wach has since been comprehensively stopped by Moses Itauma for the WBO intercontinental strap two years ago.
