Tyson Fury took aim at long-time rival Anthony Joshua ahead of his clash with Jake Paul on Friday night.
The two-time heavyweight champion is set to face social media star-turned boxer Paul over eight rounds from the Kaseya Arena in Miami, Florida.
Joshua represents by far the biggest challenge of Paul's burgeoning in-ring career to date, and the bigger and vastly more experienced fighter unsurprisingly comes into the heavyweight clash as an overwhelming favourite.
In the lead up to the fight Joshua has made a number of off-colour statements, including claiming that if he 'can kill' Paul, he will.
At the pre-fight press conference this week Joshua doubled down on his comments, leading to a furious response from Fury on social media.
"I've just been sent a video of Anthony Joshua talking about if he kills somebody, he kills somebody in the boxing ring." Fury said.
"I think he's a little bit long in the tooth to be talking s*** like that. He's 37-years-old at the end of his career, fighting a YouTuber a Disney Channel guy who Tommy [Fury] beat.
"Now he's talking about killing him and all that to try and sell, please."
He continued: "You're a classless loser coming off a 15-month [layoff], KO defeat to a local lad."
A long-touted clash between Joshua and Fury has been reported to be in the works for next summer, with Turki Alalshikh said to be intent on finally getting the pair in the ring together.
The Ring magazine reported this week that both Fury and Joshua will have tune-up fights as part of next year's Riyadh Season before headlining a mega-event sometime in 2026.
