Tommy Fleetwood will tee it up at the PGA Championship believing the Aronimink Golf Club will provide his best chance of achieving an elusive major title.
The world number six is undoubtedly one of the best players in the field who is yet to taste major glory and Fleetwood finally ended his PGA Tour duck last August with a three-stroke victory in the Tour Championship.
Fleetwood has played some of the best golf in his career over the last 12 months and Aronimink is a course he knows well.
The historic Pennsylvania track has witnessed a number of low scores through the years and Fleetwood was one of four players to equal the course record at the 2018 BMW Championship alongside Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and Kevin Na.
Not only did Fleetwood card a round of 62, but he repeated the feat again in the third round of the tournament. It wasn't enough for him to prevail, however, as the Englishman finished four shots off the pace of eventual winner Keegan Bradley.
Fleetwood's results in recent majors haven't been reflective of the standards he's been performing at.
The 35-year-old entered the Masters as one of the fancied contenders, but a difficult back nine in his opening round at Augusta National left him chasing the leaders all weekend and Fleetwood could only muster T33.
Fleetwood failed to record a top 20 finish in any of the four majors in 2025 and even missed the cut at the U.S. Open last year.
Despite those frustrations, Fleetwood heads into this year's PGA Championship in a positive frame of mind off the back of an encouraging T5 finish at the Truist Championship where he was four shots adrift of winner Kristoffer Reitan.
