In the history of the award no player has won more times than ex-Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian claimed the award on three separate occasions, most recently for the 2024-25 Premier League campaign when the Reds were crowned champions under Arne Slot.
Salah is also one of just three non-European players ever to have won the award, alongside fellow former Liverpool forward Luis Suarez and Riyad Mahrez.
