Southampton and Wolves have reportedly joined West Ham in the race to sign Hibernian midfielder Josh Mulligan.
TEAMtalk reported that "Championship trio West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton are all showing interest in Hibernian midfielder Josh Mulligan following his impressive breakthrough campaign".
They added: "Sources have informed us that both West Ham and Wolves – who are preparing for squad reshaping after relegation setbacks – have already made initial enquiries about the Scotland-based talent.
"Southampton are also firmly in the picture. Saints, continuing their rebuild, are actively looking to add depth and athleticism in midfield, and Mulligan has emerged as a player of genuine interest as they assess potential value deals in the British market."
Mulligan enjoyed quite the debut term with Scottish Premiership outfit Hibernian, registering six goal contributions in the top-flight as his side recorded a reasonable fifth-place finish.
His season was significantly hindered by an ankle injury sustained in January however, keeping him out of action for four months before he made a return to the first team fold in a 2-1 win away at Rangers in the penultimate game of the campaign.
Mulligan's absence was notable over the course of the term, with Hibs boasting a 40.9% win ratio with the Scottish midfielder present and a 33.3% win ratio without him.
The 23-year-old joined the club for an undisclosed, six-figure fee in June of 2025, having previously plied his trade for Dundee.
It was at Dens Park where he made a name for himself in the top-flight, making 49 appearances over three Scottish Premiership seasons before alerting the attention of Hibernian.
With Championship trio West Ham, Southampton and Wolves tracking Mulligan, Hibs may struggle to retain the Scotsman in the 2026/27 summer transfer window.
