Sheffield Wednesday are on the brink of completing a loan deal to sign Liverpool winger Kieran Morrison.
Journalist Pete O'Rourke has reported that the move has now been agreed between the two clubs for the duration of the 2026/27 season.
It is believed that a host of clubs were looking to acquire the services of the Northern Irish winger, with the Owls now looking set to win the race.
Morrison made two cup appearances for Liverpool last season and he is highly regarded at Anfield.
He also made his senior international debut for Northern Ireland in June when starting the 1-0 friendly win over Guinea in Spain.
Despite being primarily a winger, the 19-year-old enjoyed an excellent 2025/26 campaign in front of goal for Liverpool's development team.
He scored 14 goals in 18 Premier League 2 appearances and his attacking qualities could prove to be invaluable for Sheffield Wednesday.
Henrik Pedersen's side were relegated from the Championship last season but they will be hoping to challenge for promotion from League One come May.
The Owls got off to a winning start in the league on Saturday as they secured a 2-1 victory at Leyton Orient courtesy of goals from Callum Slattery and Jamal Lowe.
