Sheffield Wednesday look to complete deal for Wrexham forward

Sheffield Wednesday are attempting to complete the loan signing of Wrexham forward Davis Keillor-Dunn.

Journalist Darren Witcoop has reported the news of Wednesday's interest in the versatile attacker.

It is believed that Wrexham have given the move the green light as the 11pm deadline approaches.

A number of Championship clubs including Blackburn Rovers had explored a deal, but it is the Owls who have seemingly won the race.

League One

Keillor-Dunn moved to Barnsley in the summer of 2024 following a stellar League Two campaign with Mansfield Town where he netted 22 league goals.

His good form continued at Oakwell as he scored 35 goals in 78 appearances.

The 28-year-old moved to Wrexham in the January transfer window this year but he has been unable to force his way into Phil Parkinson's first team on a regular basis.

The Owls will be hoping that he can rediscover his form as they plot an immediate return to the Championship.
