Sheffield United are set to confirm the loan signing of Coventry City defender Liam Kitching.
Journalist Pete O'Rourke has reported that the move has been agreed and the player has now passed his medical at Bramall Lane.
The deal for the defender will be a season-long loan as Chris Wilder adds a centre-back to his squad on deadline day.
Kitching made the move to Coventry from League One side Barnsley in August 2023.
The 26-year-old has made over 100 appearances for the club across the last three seasons.
He was a key part of Frank Lampard's side last season as the Sky Blues secured the Championship title.
However, he has found himself down the pecking order this season as Coventry adapt to life in the Premier League.
