Sébastien Pocognoli has named his first squad in charge of Scotland ahead of a trio of Nations League matches.
The former Monaco and Royale Union Saint-Gilloise boss was named as Steve Clarke's replacement in mid-August and has set about putting his own stamp on the Scotland side already, naming untested Stephen Welsh, Robbie Ure, Luke Graham, Jon McCracken, Luis Binks, Josh McPake, and Colby Donovan among his 28-man squad.
Hull City forward Oli McBurnie has also earned a recall after impressing for the Tigers over the last year.
The 30-year-old striker made his last Scotland appearance over five years ago and the decision to leave him out of the squad that travelled to the World Cup over the summer was widely criticised after he led Hull to promotion back to the Premier League.
McBurnie will be joined by £5.5m Sevilla striker Ure, who enjoyed a prolific spell for former club Sirius before earning his big money move to La Liga.
The ex-Rangers marksman netted 15 goals in 15 Allsvenskan matches, leaving Sirius top of the Swedish top-flight before making the move to the South of Spain.
22-year-old centre-half Graham has also earned a maiden call-up off the back of the impressive start that he has made to life in the Championship following his move from Dundee to Stoke City over the summer.
Celtic starlet Donovan is the last of the three new additions who will be in contention to feature against Slovenia, Switzerland and North Macedonia.
The right-back burst onto the scene at Celtic Park last season and has started four of the opening six Scottish Premiership matches of the season for the reigning champions.
The inclusion of Brondby skipper Binks is maybe the biggest shock from Tuesday morning's announcement. Born in Gillingham, the former Tottenham youth player had represented both England and Scotland youth teams, but has now been given the opportunity to play for the latter at senior level.
Relegation playoff defeat to Greece saw Scotland drop back down into League B, where Pocognoli's men are 7/2 to top their group.
They kick-off their campaign with an away trip to Slovenia before welcoming Switzerland to Hampden Park. The Tartan Army will then set off on their travels again, this time to Skopje where they face North Macedonia.
