Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn Fight Purse - how much money will the British star earn this weekend?

Conor Benn has the opportunity to cement his name deeper into boxing history when he takes on the explosive Ryan Garcia in a high-stakes WBC welterweight world title clash this weekend.

The Briton has long seeked a crack at a legitimate world title and finally has his chance against long-term 147lbs rival, Garcia.

Following months of verbal social media insults as well as fiery and physical face-offs, the two will finally settle their differences in the ring at Las Vegas' state-of-the-art T-Mobile Arena in the early hours of Sunday morning.

With such vast global interest in the fight, both men are expected to earn significant sums of money, irrespective of the outcome of the clash.

But exactly how much will they earn?

While official figures have not been publicly disclosed by promoters, unofficial reports suggest that the fight purse for Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn sits at around $30 million (£22.2 million).

if true, it would equal Benn's previous career-high pay day; the $15 million he earned from his first fight under the Zuffa Boxing banner against Regis Prograis in April.

It's being reported that the purse, which is being jointly-funded by Turki Alalshikh and SELA, for Garcia vs Benn will be split 50/50.

How much will Conor Benn earn this weekend?

Reports estimate that Benn will take home $15 million this weekend, around £11.2 million!

No official announcement has been made surrounding the exact figure he will earn, but the Londoner has previously gone on record to suggest that he wouldn't even entertain the idea of a fight against Garcia for less than $15 million.

Speaking prior to official announcement of the fight earlier this year, Benn said: "I’d fight anyone. If they say, ‘Here’s $15 million,’ no problem. That’s it. But there’s no motivation apart from money in that fight [Ryan Garcia]."

Of course, he picked up that very amount when he secured a decision verdict over Prograis five months ago, in what was his first outing after controversially ending his long-term agreement with former promoter Eddie Hearn and Matchroom.

What is Conor Benn's net worth?

According to several sources online, it's estimated that Benn boasts a current net worth of around £18 million.

That estimation is however unlikely to include sponsorship and endorsement agreements the fighter holds with partners and sponsors, with a figure nearer to £20 million understood to be his actual value.
